I've noticed that not many people are interested it purebred catz, mostly just dogz. I am currently working on getting some nice mutations out of purebred meezer litterz, but I'm starting to think that to get different colors and such, you have to inbreed them. Wow, I kind of strayed off the topic. Anyways, what I was wondering is what kinds of purebred cats are you interested in? When I get a good meezer litter I'll post pics.

i love purebred catz! i am a total stiff when it comes to hexed catz breedz, because i think they are too easy to pose. i like to breed the heck out of the original breedz and see what i can make of them. i havent seen too many good ones, so im not sure which ones i like best. probably calicos.

I'm working on Siamese, Egyptian Maus, and Calicos at the moment, I dowloaded over-writing breed files of the Scottish Fold, Egyptian Mau, Honey Bear and Desert Lynx. They have transparent textures, so the color mutations will show through, which is pretty cool. I will post pics when I get some good ones.

Truth be told... it is hard to say something is actually "purebred". In some cases the word "purebred" should actually be inbred. It would be more appropriate. Just one of many reasons "mutts" do not have the issues that "purebreds" have whether they are cats, dogs, or what have ya. One must look back at it's true beginning and the percentage that will always be there but only to be reduced to a smaller percentage of that true heritage. We have made dogs from Wolves, Coyotes, Jackals, and Foxes. The Persian Jackal Hound which was recently made will always have a percentage of Jackal in their offspring, but that percentage will decrease in time with each litter. There also will always be man trying to produce something different out of what already exists for whatever reason. In the past it was making something wild tame. Now it's the desire to create something different, something "better", or something desirable. In some cases, it doesn't work out. A few years ago I rescued and bottle fed three kittens of which I kept one. Her Mother was a Purebred Calico and her Father was a Purebred Bengal. She turned out to be a marble Tortie, with markings on her back much like a Ball Python (Royal Python). She ended up with the Bengal facial and leg marking's like her father with a nice short fluffy coat that sheds very little. I personally wanted to try my hand at creating total Torties. I was lucky to find a Calico male who's Mother was a purebred Calico, yet his Father was Burmese. My "baby" mothered four kittens. Two are total torties (both females) w/o the any Bengal strips. One male has all the traits of being able to produce torties or at least beautiful babies. He has longer hair and has beautiful markings like the Boelen's Python (Morelia boeleni) and kept his Bengal markings in the front. All of those three acquired their Mother's soft coat. The second male is a short yellowed haired kitten that kept some of the marks of the Bengal and ended up with the Burmese shading on yellow at all the right points. He's going to be a big boy. Out of all of them the little yellow boy has the best temperament and personality, yet I don't think he will be productive towards my next goal, whatever that might be. If I'm to look for sweet attentive cats with a lot of personality I'll go with him. I succeeded with the Torties...Now...What? A male Tortie that isn't sterile would be a big treat... I have had only one purebred cat... a Maine Coon for little over a year. What a sweetie. I'm sure I had something to do with that. Sadly, he was hit and killed. One thing about cats...As I was describing my kittens heritage to my friend. She said, you are acting like they are purebred. I told her, Well, I'm sick of people playing up breeds of dogs and cats just get called shorthaired domestic. They have history too!
