I was at the adoption center adopting a wolf (VPZ research center wolf), and I was very surprised to see that she only had three legs, and me being new to the game, I was interested to see that dogs could even have defects, and I felt sorry for that little energetic pixel pup, and adopted her. But then I bred the dog with a male blue merle border collie, not knowing if the defect would show again, and got another three legger, an exact replica of the mother almost in markings (to my dissapointment, because I wanted a mix between the two dogs). But I was wondering if one defect causes another, because the dog ended up having two tails... I don't know if you can see it or not, but that is the side with the stump, and the tail is kind of hanging down under the upper one. But this wasn't the part I was worried about most...the puppy's tail, whenever I pick him up and hold him in the air a while, flashes into a really long bent thing...and it kind of reminds me of the devil or something ...and this happens with none of my other dogs... Has this ever happened to any of you?

Sometimes certain breeds just clash and produce really wrong mixes. I don't think it's because your dog was three legged but rather because the other dog's breed just didn't go with your three legged dog's.
Also, dogs can have 'defects' as you put it, if the hexer has put them as a variation in the breed.

I was just a little more creeped out by the longated tail thing than anything though...the three legs I understand, but the flash of the long crooked tail...like an exorcist movie or something...

xD Petz is an odd game! You can be playing it for years and still be finding new hidden features

Well, I found out it wasn't just that dog. I had two (out of three in the litter) puppies with two tails (mixes) which was odd because the parents didn't have any defects at all. When I picked them up, they also had the longated tail problem. And the puppy that had a docked tail (from the same litter), gets all freaky when she is floating a little bit, like when the tub lifts her up (some kind of fault in the game where she looks like she is standing above the water level), or when I hold her in the air for a while...

go back to the site you got the breed from and see if that's supposed to happen. if its not, you might want to email the maker of the breed so they can fix the glitch.

Yeah it's probably just the breeds you used. Sometimes their codes just don't go well together

Well, like in real life, dogs have defects. I guess you could hex it to make it normal, or you could just deal with it. I personally don't mind defects. It means the pup is unique. He/She is a beautiful pup, and I would adopt it in a second. That is weird though, I've never had that happen. I guess those happen sortof like blindness does.

I didn't mind the defect, it was the tail going crazy like that. It creeped me out...it really reminded me of an exorcist movie or something...and I can't show him or breed him again really, and I don't have my own computer for keeping a whole lot of dogs, so I got rid of him...

Aw! Well, it probably was for the best. When we were talking about Shotzi on the adoption board, wouldn't her young ONLY get 3 legs since it was a hexed disability?

I'm not sure really, because my dog only had three legs...but maybe you're right...

Most likely, Shotzi (if you breed her) will produce three legged pups. As your dogz, Chaos, that wasn't hexed into them to have all those defects, I guess you could call them. So, there is a big chance if Shotzi is bred, she'll produce 3 legged dogz, and if your dog were to have bred, Chaos, then there was only a chance the defects may have passed on.

I'm guessing that since Shotzi had 3 legs hexed into her, and it wasn't an actual DEFECT she would ONLY produce 3 legged pups. Whereas, the dogz with natural defects, would produce those weird pups.
