Now, before I make a speech about spam...I know, believe me, we all do it...even I. However, it really is unnecessary. It just makes topics pointless and heard to read (as by the time you finish the topic plus all the replies of spam, you forgot what the original topic was..). Let's just go over some examples of spam... Posts like the following - Topic: OMG Message: My dog was like drooling on my leg today. OMG Do you ever see that happen??? Topic: Look Message: Hi, how are you today? See, you know, like stupid posts like above. Another form of spam would be "spamming" up an already made thread. Like for instance, say someone posted about their real life dogs, and then someone else replies and says - "Wow, did you hear about suchandsuch in the news today?"...like that has nothing to do with the topic that was started in the first place. If you have something very different to say than the thread you are replying to, make a separate thread, it never hurts. Thanks for taking the time to read the above. It's much appreciated. ;D Oh, and spam topics will be deleted without warning.

A little extra note on spam: It's not a problem here and from what I have seen has only happened a few times, but one word replies are also considered spam. For example, if there is a topic that is funny and made you laugh, do not just reply with "lol" .. try saying "lol I thought that was too funny! Great joke!" or something along those lines.
Another example is if you send or recieve an adopted pet, instead of just typing "thanks!" or "sent", say something like "Thank you so much! I will take great care of it" or "Fluffy is now yours! Enjoy!"
When people post a lot of one word replies, the thread gets extremely long for a bunch of replies that consist of only "awesome!" or "cool!", plus it's frustrating for everyone .. especially if you are the topic starter and are looking for critiques or help.
Again, this has not become any sort of a problem here at Salty, just an add on of Salty's note on spam ;D
