I've been gathering some methods of pose training and thought I'd make them official and easier to find
My method
- First, make sure you're in a playscene that has no ledges, animations, interactions, or sounds.
- Set your photos to autosave, because it'll save you a lot of time if you haven't already!
- Pick up your dog until it spins right, and then wait until you think it's suitably aligned
- Drop your dog
- Start taking pictures
If your dog jumps about or moves start again. If your dog looks scared or hides, then just keep taking photos. If you start as a puppy they get used to the camera by the time they're adults and won't do that anymore.
If your dog looks like it's posing, but it's eyes are wide open and odd looking, it isn't posing properly. Your dog need to have relaxed looking eyes.
The next bit is a bit tricky
You need to watch your dog very closely, as it starts to move into it's pose, STOP TAKING PICTURES. That part is very very important. If you don't let it pose without taking pictures it will jump out of position.
If it first enters a dali pose, quickly take some pictures, and then stop. Your dog should then start to lift it's head up and move to it to face straight ahead. Once it has done this, try clicking once infront of it's head and may line itself up better, and then quickly get some photos.
You should by the end have some reasonable photos. Sometimes you'll need to repeat the steps a lot before your pet becomes used to the camera and you get some decent shots.

Extra tips
- For those with Petz 5, the weave poles won't work so use the course at the Asian Temple instead. It works exactly the same and trains your dogs even more. Thanks Princess Artie
- Use the space bar to take pictures as it works faster than the alternative. Thanks Pebble!
