My new husky, Zuko! ;D How's this? Will the ear be a problem? *mumbles* It BETTER not *coughs* Wow...I didn't think it would be such a gratifying feeling, seeing a dog do a dane pose...even if this isn't great. I LOVE this feeling...forget dali poses!

Lol. Hmmm, with huskies, you rate the pose by how their ankles are alighined. Zuko's on a bit of an angle, and his ears do have to be alighned properly. Here, this is an example of my husky in a dane pose. It's not perfect, but see how his ankles are aligned? EDIT: Don't be annoyed with the ears, by the way. They are not too difficult to get after a few tries, and that's actually a pretty good pose for a husky. They can be stubborn sometimes, that's why I don't show over half of mine =]

Yeah, and I love little Zuko...but he's being so stubborn with his poses. I'm probably not doing it right, but he keeps sitting down and going JUST on the border line of having his head right. And JUST when I get his feet right, he jumps up and down! Do you think I could place with that pose? Even honorable mention? And are his back feet right, because it kind of looks like a point...?

I think you could place with the pose, but it might work better if you make him an adult, pose him, then make him back into a pup. I like posing them as adults, since you can see the alignment better.

Yeah...but that's the point isn't it..so they can't see the misalignment

But usually they don't place well either way. Adults stand a way better chance because there are more in the show. If a puppy is entered, it almost never places even with a flawless pose. Also, the ears will align better as an adult.

Princess Artie is right. Adults to place better and are easier to align properly, but it's your choice =]

The first one has better alignment on the legs, while the second has a better head alignment. On the first, his ankles are perfect, but his head is tilted to the left, so he was turning his head while you snapped the picture. Other then that, I can't see anything wrong.
For the second, his legs are way off. He's turned to the right a little too far, though his head and ears are pretty good.

What people have been saying is right, most judges will loath to place a puppy because you just can't tell, let alone a nearly completely white one On the new poses, the left one is really good apart from the head and the tail. The head should be straighter, at the moment it looks like it's bent to the dog's left at the moment, when the head's straight the tail should go with it (it should be more like on your puppy photo). As for the second one, the head is fantastic, you'll probably get a bit of the back ear bleeding over no matter how perfect the rest of the pose, this is true with most dogz but most dogz have the same coloured ears . The legs need to be more aligned though, but you're certainly getting there! I hope that all made sense ¬¬

Is this around what I'm looking for? Or are the feet too bad?

The ankles look off to me. The head alignment look pretty good...maybe raised a little more? I don't know though, you should leave this to a husky expert.

I'd say that pose would definitely place a good few shows. To aim for BIS though, the head could be a bit higher, and maybe align the feet a tiny bit more. But then again, unless you're up against perfectly posed dogz with no faults you should place pretty high with that

Actually, that husky would need to be quite a lot more aligned. If it's front legs were the unaligned ones (only a tad though) then it would place. It wouldn't place under an experienced judge's eye. It's back legs are obviously unaligned, even just by looking at it. So it wouldn't place very well.
